There’s always a little bit of filler each season, but this episode managed to pack in a great friendship message, Spike shenanigans, and an amazing meta-bit, all at the same time. And also, we get to pit the majestic but a little clueless Thorax with the tactless, blunt honesty of Ember, and OF COURSE it leads to hilarious results. We’re not saying it’s the most groundbreaking episode of My Little Pony, but it’s still a pretty fun time! We’re watching “Triple Threat” this week on Macintosh & Maud!
