This week, Riverdale used its season premiere to simply and plainly mourn the loss of one of its most beloved actors and characters with one of its best episodes ever. Seriously, you almost can’t call this a Riverdale episode for the sincerity and vulnerability all of the actors tapped into. The writing does a perfect job of blending the characters’ emotions and feelings with the actors, mourning both Fred Andrews and Luke Perry without ever making moments feel unearned. It’s beautiful, and we’re crying about it, and there’s a LOT of feelings to get through this week. Enjoy our review of the Season 4 premiere episode, “In Memoriam.”
