Right before a hiatus, Riverdale decided to drop one of its most interesting episodes yet. The Core Four get almost no screen time as the most adorable older couple ever, Tom Keller and Sierra McCoy, are getting ready to tie the knot. We were thrilled when Gladys Jones turned out to be the secret buyer of Hiram’s drug ring at the prison, and swooned when Kevin and Moose finally got to spend the night together. Yet we’re also incredibly pissed at the writers, who have not only ruined Cheryl Blossom, but also managed to victimize and traumatize every queer character on this show FOR NO REASON. Despite being a damn good episode, the writers need to be called to the mat. Come to the Doghouse for the swoons, stay for the strong social commentary…
