Riverdale isn’t wasting time on this jump forward; in fact, they might be moving too quickly. Barchie is a real thing now, and despite the hot shower sex and refreshing discussion after, the show didn’t give us nearly enough sexual tension between the two. Nor did it do anything positive for Veronica, who now seems doomed to repeat all her Daddykins trauma with Chaddykins. Still, there’s a super cool fight scene, a true introduction for the delightful Tabitha Tate, and a lot for your resident Riverdale detectives to chew on for what’s coming this season.
