We had to take some time off from our season after some life events, and now we’re back to finish off this season. And this episode does very little to make any progress in any real way. I mean, yes, there’s some wild biblical plagues being unleashed on the town of Riverdale, but as for everyone else? They’re just continuing to be their very boring, predictable selves, like Veronica, who decides to just break into Sondheim at a celebration of her friends’ wedding. Except for Jughead, he’s dealing with the fact that weird visions are coming to take his stories and oh yeah, there’s another one of him watching as he dies. Because he’s a firstborn child.
