We cannot stress enough how much needless exposition these writers crammed into this episode. There is nearly 15 minutes of pure exposition just crammed into various scenes and lines, all of which is a rehash of everything that has already happened this season. It’s as though the writers on this show do not believe the audience is smart enough to actually track the plot of this show. Which is probably fair, considering just how bonkers they’ve decided to make things. This time, though, it undercuts some really fun storylines and bits, all in the name of redundant storytelling. Yuck. Remember it’s just like opening a door as we discuss “Chapter 115: Return to Rivervale” this week on The Doghouse.
