Did you miss us? We missed you! That’s right, it’s been far too long, and we’re back with a patented Oscars(TM) series, this time focusing on the year 1962. We kick things off this week with mid-century Hollywood stalwart Tennessee Williams. Boy do we wish we hadn’t. There are some legitimately good and enjoyable performances, but they’re wasted on a movie that said “you know what this play adaptation needs - more set pieces!” This movie is a hot mess, and not in the way Tennessee Williams would want us to see it. Oscars ‘62 kicks off this week with our review of Sweet Bird of Youth on Macintosh & Maud Haven’t Seen What?!
