So for a while now we’ve said that it would be great if this ridiculous television show would just go ahead and decide it’s utterly ridiculous. It would save us all a lot of trouble. Well lo and behold, Riverdale has just decided to lean all the way in. I mean, this show has now run an end-around using Cheryl Blossom’s ancestor Abigail to rekindle Choni…and we kind of like it. Every one of the core four get tons of character development in the most ridiculous ways, and the cocktail is potent. This is by far the most ridiculous episode of the show we’ve seen to date and somehow, some way - it works. Join us in this brave new world of Riverdale as we discuss “Chapter 102: Death at a Funeral” this week on The Doghouse.
